New owners must personally come and pick up there puppies. I do this so
that I have the chance to meet the new owners. and you have the chance to meet me and the new puppies parents.
The Shih Tzu by nature is a Very robust little
dog. Very well mannered though sometimes like to bark. Good for families with allergies as Shih Tzu's are non shedding dogs,
and there hair is more like human hair. This breed does well with polite careful children. This affectionate little dog needs
to be with people and is generally social with other pets. The Shih Tzu can also get snappish if surprised or peeved. This
breed can also be difficult to housebreak. The Shih Tzu requires a good daily grooming. I keep my Shih Tzu's cut short as
it is eaiser to keep them clean. Some health concerns for the Shih Tzu are as follows. Eyes: The Shih Tzu with large front
facing eyes is vulnerable to lacerations such as an eye ulcer. Kidneys: (renal dysphasia): The cause could be environmental,
diet and predisposition to the diease. Stress is another big factor. The only proof of this condition is the examination of
the kidneys by a vet. There are many different kidney diseases and you should not jump to conclusions by making the wrong
diagnosis...
